Home : ORIGANIMALS by Diana Eng
Exclusively for RealmDekor.com
When Diana Eng was a small child impatiently waiting for dinner at local restaurants, her mother would entertain her by folding origami puppets from the dinner napkins. Fascinated by the process, Diana soon began folding her own animal creations.
The Origanimals Collection is designed to recreate four of Diana's favorite childhood folds. Restaurant-quality fabric dinner napkins are used as the template for color-coded stitching enabling the user to easily make the origami folds in sequence. The final step of buttoning secures the folds in place.
The four animals each have their own unique charm. The snail's shell rolls up. The peacock's feathers spread out. The rabbit's ears twist open. And the bear takes shape like the folding of a book.
